Our Story
Shasta Film Supply began with a simple mission: to serve productions in Shasta County with professional equipment.
As a cinematographer, Kevin Kewley knew firsthand the challenges of sourcing professional gear in the North State. With no local options to rent equipment, TACMedia was created to offer existing equipment to other filmmakers in the area. Since then we've rebranded to Shasta Film Supply and expanded our gear list. In a region without access to larger rental houses, our goal has always been to provide high-quality equipment at fair prices.
Today, we're proud to support productions of all sizes; from indie documentaries and music videos, to live events, commercials and narrative features. Our commitment remains the same: provide professional gear, quality service, and local expertise to filmmakers in and around Shasta County.
